Summary

As a Sales Engineer, you will represent the company as the subject matter expert for beverage dispensing solutions and technology when specifying solutions for customers.

Job Description

• Provide pre-sales consultation expertise, including the proposal of technical solutions for specialty beverage dispensing products.
• Address technical questions from customers and vendors, and ensure the proposed solution entails quality design and is cost-effective.
• Responsible for quoting elements of the technical product solution, and for creating business plans to propose competitive pricing with sustainable profit margins.
• Create technical solution diagrams and worksheets that produce detailed project cost summaries and project overview documentation for internal engineering teams.
• Conduct sales and account management training on the competitive product advantage of Lancer beverage dispensing products.
• Post implementation support related to relationship building, customer's technical strategy, and additional revenue opportunities.
• Provide strategic technical support to customers using skills in technical consultation delivery, planning, design, and implementation solutions to ensure successful customer integration and implementation of established company networks and products.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to foster a cooperative relationship among the enterprise teams to effectively prospect new business and support the existing customer base.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Marketing, and two (2) years of experience as Sales Engineer.
• The two (2) years of experience must have included the sale of technical/engineered products, providing technical solutions, and related product marketing.
